Our Story

Hello, I’m Kelly Bell.

I am the founder and proud owner of Bell & Co Estates an independent, award-winning estate agent, wife to Daniel, Mummy to Theo and Dog Mum to two fluffy Cockapoos; George & Stan, homeowner and business owner! I have been part of the property industry for over 16 years, and 6 years ago I made the decision to set up my own independent agency.

My motivation was simple: I wanted to do things differently.

Too often, I saw buyers and sellers treated as transactions rather than people. I set out to create a business that was approachable, personable, and friendly – stripping away the intimidating or untrustworthy persona that estate agents are so often labelled with.

Starting from absolutely nothing, with no properties and no brand awareness, I worked hard to build trust and credibility within my community. Rather than relying on heavy marketing campaigns, my growth has been fuelled almost entirely by recommendations and referrals – a reflection of the service I provide and the relationships I’ve built. I still pinch myself when I see my boards in the area and remember that six years ago this was only an idea.

Today, my agency sells a huge number of properties each year. This is something I am incredibly proud of, not just as a business milestone, but because it proves that clients value a different way of doing things.

Every sale and purchase matters deeply to me. I take time to ensure that the process is as simple, transparent, and stress-free as possible – whether that’s answering a late-night call from a nervous first-time buyer, guiding families through chains, or supporting clients through difficult circumstances.

At the heart of everything I do is a genuine belief that moving home is one of the most important and emotional journeys in a person’s life, and it deserves to be handled with care. My independence gives me the freedom to shape my service around people rather than processes – and I believe that’s what sets me apart.
